American Humane – Be Kind To Animals

As Vice President of Public programs at American Humane, I initiated an ambitious shelter animal adoption and fundraising campaign. Supported by Walmart Stores, Nestle Purina, Friskies pet foods and canine movie star Benji, the program engaged more than 100 million people. I personally wrote most of the copy. Read more . . .

American Humane – Animal Planet Rescue

During American Humane’s 125th anniversary, I created a cause marketing program that partnered AHA with Discovery Network’s Animal Planet channel to deploy a state-of-art animal rescue vehicle. This program raised $5.0 million while rescuing animals in natural and man-made disasters. Read more . . .

Energizing Taliesin West

I created the Energizing Taliesin West cause marketing campaign to celebrate Frank Lloyd Wright’s dedication to sustainability. I developed the campaign strategy, brand and wrote more than 100 pieces of copy. And, I created a $2.0 million cause marketing partnership that included the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, First Solar, Power-One and OSRAM SYLVANIA. Read more . . .

World’s Greatest Gold Camp

Working with the City of Cripple Creek, CO, and several casinos and nonprofit organizations, I created an innovative advertising program and had a great deal of fun doing the copywriting. The program produced more than $2.0 million dollars in funding for trails and open space restoration and for revitalization of the historic 1890’s Butte Opera House. Read more . . .

San Juan Marina – Navajo Nation

The first tourism marketing program I created partnered nonprofit Utah Navajo Industries and the Navajo Nation with privately owned Goulding’s Lodge in Monument Valley. We bartered unsold houseboat and guest room capacity to fund a $500,000 tourism marketing campaign in feeder markets. Read more . . .
